Our Story
We began helping people in need in 2006. As time went on, the Lord began turning our hearts toward children who needed a safe place to stay during difficult circumstances. In 2008, we asked our pastor and close friends to join us in prayer as we sought God’s direction for how to begin this ministry.
Over the next several years, God guided us every step of the way. He led us to other children’s homes where we gathered valuable information and insight, brought more than 30 children to our doors in need of help, and surrounded us with faithful friends who supported the vision He had placed on our hearts.
In the summer of 2012, The Exodus Ranch officially became a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Earlier that spring, God led us and our board members to the property we now call home. Together, we walked the land, prayed over it, and felt His clear direction to move forward with the purchase.
Over the next four and a half years, through blood, sweat, tears, countless hours of work, more than 4,000 volunteers from around the world, and blessings beyond anything we could have hoped for or imagined, we witnessed miracle after miracle. The journey has been filled with God’s provision, faithfulness, and grace. We give all glory to God our Father for making what once seemed impossible a reality.
Today, we are blessed to live on the property and serve the children God sends our way. Since the beginning of this ministry, we have helped hundreds of children through both long-term placement and temporary assistance during times of crisis and need. Every child who has come through our doors has been a reminder of God’s purpose and calling for this ministry.
Please join us in daily prayer that we will continue to serve Him alone and faithfully follow the path He places before us.
