June at The Exodus Ranch: A Summer Full of Growth, Fun, and New Experiences
As summer got underway, June was filled with opportunities for the children at The Exodus Ranch to make memories, learn new skills, and simply enjoy being kids.
Thanks to the generous Six Flags memberships donated during Christmas, several of the children were able to spend exciting days at the water park, making the most of the summer sunshine. They also cooled off closer to home with visits to local pools and recreation centers, giving everyone plenty of time to swim, play, and spend time together.
This month also brought opportunities to explore new interests. One of our boys began taking golf lessons, where he is learning not only the fundamentals of the game but also valuable lessons in patience, focus, and perseverance. Several of our girls participated in a sewing class, developing practical skills while expressing their creativity through hands-on projects.
The fun didn’t stop there. The children enjoyed a visit to the Blue Bell Creameries in Sylacauga, where they learned how one of their favorite treats is made before, of course, enjoying some delicious ice cream. They also had a great time at the movie theater watching Toy Story 5, sharing plenty of laughs and excitement together.
Moments like these are made possible because of the incredible generosity of our supporters. Every outing, lesson, and experience helps create a childhood filled with encouragement, discovery, and lasting memories.
Thank you for helping us provide opportunities that allow these children to grow, explore, and simply enjoy being kids. We can’t wait to see what the rest of the summer has in store!
